Katherine Bohnert passed away July 24, 2011.
Born in Nagyszekerly, Hungary on September 22, 1929, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1949. Katherine was a member of the German Family Society and had worked for the Pfluger Co. and for Woodridge Schools.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank Sr.; parents, Katherine and Heinrich Knoch; brother, Heinrich; and son, Hans; she is loved and will be missed greatly by sons, Frank Jr. Theresa and Henry Mary; daughter-in-law, Laura; and grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Adam, Katie, Ashley and Jacob.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Maison Aine for their loving compassion and support.
Service will be held 2 p.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home WEDNESDAY, 4 to 8 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087. Billow FALLS Chapel
