Lisa Sue Vierling

Lisa Sue Vierling, age 80, of Fairlawn, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

She was born August 31, 1945, in Akron, OH to the late William and Betty (nee Caldwell) Wasick. Lisa was a proud homemaker that loved spending time with her children and her family. She enjoyed history and playing bridge. Lisa loved to volunteer at Stan Hewitt and had many lifelong friends. She will be greatly missed.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 38 years, Frank Vierling; sister, Danya Mebust; and brother, W. Mark (Suzy) Wasick.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Marcie (Edward Bailey) Vierling; cherished son, Todd Vierling; beloved grandchildren, Kiera Grahl, Kendall Bailey, and Mila Bailey; treasured sisters, Zara McCaffrey, Jane Falkenstein, Diane Velick, Betsy Berkey; and dear brother, Bruce Wasick.

A Celebration of Life will take place SATURDAY, July 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at D’Agnese’s at White Pond Akron, 566 White Pond Dr., Akron, OH 44320.
