IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Ann
Feldhouse
February 1, 1942 – February 5, 2026
Margie Feldhouse loved the quiet things in life, seeing a sunset, watching a meteor shower, putting her feet in the sand and feeling the surf on her legs, and gazing at a full moon. She loved turtles, the beach, the color purple, and listening to music—especially John Denver. She spent every Sunday listening to Irish music and eating waffles. She found joy in celebrations, trips to the zoo, visits to Put-In-Bay, and drinking margaritas at her favorite Mexican restaurant. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every single moment spent with her beloved grandchildren.
Margaret Ann (Placko) Feldhouse, age 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep at The Village of St. Edward’s in Fairlawn, Ohio, where she had resided in independent and assisted living since 2021.
Born on February 1, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, Margie lived a life rooted in love, simple pleasures, and deep devotion to those around her. She had a gentle spirit, a warm heart, and a quiet strength that comforted everyone who knew her.
Margie was preceded in death by her father, John Francis Placko; her mother, Anna Marie Placko; and her sisters, Carol Rodano and Barbara Whalen. She is survived by those who cherished her most: her devoted husband of 63 years, Jim; her son Jim Feldhouse (Randy Sterns); her son David Feldhouse (Krista); her daughter Lori Darst (Mike); and her beloved grandchildren, Amy Darst, Erin Darst, Kai Feldhouse, Katie Feldhouse, and Wesley Feldhouse.
Margie was deeply indebted to her wonderful caregivers at The Village of St. Edward’s, and her family will be forever grateful for the loving care and compassion she received during her years there—some of her happiest.
Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. at The Village of St. Edward Chapel, 3125 Smith Road, Fairlawn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at The Village. Burial will be private.
Margie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her—found in every sunset sky, every ocean wave, every celebration, and every song that reminds us to treasure life’s simple and beautiful moments.
