Margaret "Peggy" Anne Vernon

Margaret Anne "Peggy" Vernon, 87, Passed away peacefully after a long illness on July 10th, 2025. In Akron, Ohio. She was born on April 26,1938, in Akron, Ohio. Daughter of the late Ted and Anne Saxman.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Judy Saxman. Peggy's life was marked by warmth, humor and devotion to those she loved. She attended Revere High School graduating in 1956.

She married her high school sweetheart, Russ in Akron on September 6th, 1958. She was a loving Spouse, Mother and Homemaker with a sharp wit. Peggy enjoyed reading, popcorn, relaxing at the family's Lake Home, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Russell B Vernon; sons, Michael and his wife Elizabeth, James and his wife Sheryl, Richard and his wife Kally; grandchildren, Chelsea, Scott, Emily, Alex, Drew, and Samantha; nieces and nephew, Gretchen, Heather and Andy.
