Nancy Diane Pangynaszki (Stephens), 78, passed away on June 28, 2026, from complications of dementia and Parkinson's disease.
Born on November 20, 1947, in California to Rose and Billy Stephens, Nancy graduated from West Covina High School in 1966 and later from Riggs Lamar Beauty College, becoming a state-licensed cosmetologist.
On August 18, 1970, Nancy married the love of her life, John Pangyanszki, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Together they raised their daughter, Stephanie Lynn, and their son, John David, in California before moving to Ohio in 1989.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who faithfully supported her children throughout their school years and in their parish community. She re-entered the workforce to help support her family and worked as a beautician and warehouse employee for Mervyn's in California, and most recently as a florist at Acme Fresh Market in Ohio.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Stephanie (Bruce) Radcliff; her son John David (Autumn); her sisters, Jan (Charlie) Blanton and Tina Hardy; her brother, Craig Stephens; her brother-in-law, George; and her beloved grandchildren, Devyn, Dawson, Eli, Bryce, and Daniel.
Nancy loved her family deeply and will be remembered for her steady love, support, and devotion to those closest to her. Though her struggles are over, the loss of her presence is deeply felt by all who loved her.
Nancy loved and supported the Salvation Army through financial contributions and donations. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to the Salvation Army in her name would be appreciated.
She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at a later date in a private ceremony.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina, Ohio, for helping them through this difficult time.
