Patricia E. Fulton

Patricia Ellen Fulton (nee Pazur) 83, of Akron, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026. Patricia was born in McKeesport, PA on November 15, 1942 as the third child of Michael and Mary Pazur. Pat, as her friends and family know her, was married to Robert B. Fulton for 64 years. They met while attending Marietta College, where Pat received her bachelor’s degree in English. After graduation, she went on to work as a middle school teacher.

Pat spent most of her life living in Northeast Ohio. She and Bob quickly made friends with their neighbors wherever they lived and became known for organizing social activities which brought people together. Pat and Bob were avid bridge players and members of many bridge clubs for years. She also loved learning new card games, with her most recent favorite being Hand and Foot.

Pat was a wonderful hostess and cooked with love for her friends and family. If you shared a meal at Pat’s table then you knew you were loved. Pat adored her family who equally adored her in return. She collected grandchildren as her own five lived further away and she loved having boys to feed and children to spoil.

Pat and Bob fully enjoyed their retirement by traveling throughout the US and abroad. Pat had just started planning a trip to Japan in October to attend her grandson’s wedding.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Pazur; and her brother, Ronald Pazur. Pat is survived by her husband, Robert Fulton; son, Brian Fulton (Mary) of Spearfish, ND; daughter, Erin Huesler (Adrian) of Lucerne, Switzerland; grandchildren, Rev. Fr. Michael Fulton, Katherine (Jakob), Nicholas, Cael (Miyu) and Jack; sister, Carol Morris of Poland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Fran Pazur; and a large family of dearly-loved nieces, nephews, as well as cherished friends.

A private memorial service will be held for the family. Sympathy cards and flowers may be sent to 85 N. Miller Road Fairlawn, OH 44333 in care of The Billow Funeral Homes & Crematory. Memorial contributions in Pat’s name may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44038.
