Pauline Vasilopoulos

Pauline Vasilopoulos, age 101, passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2025. 

She was a lifelong accountant for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. She was a very active member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the Good Samaritans and the Philoptochos Society. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Stella Vasilopoulos; sisters, Margaret Goumas and Coletta Vasilopoulos; brother, James; brother-in-law, Andrew Goumas; and sister-in-law, Marcella. She is survived by her sister, Sophie Vasilopoulos; nephew, Theodore Goumas; niece, Yvonne (Dave) McLaughlin; great niece, Alison McLaughlin; and a very loving and caring God daughter, Michele D'Avello; and many other special friends. A special thank you to all the caregivers at The Inn at Apple Ridge for their loving care given to Pauline and her beloved sister Sophie.

Funeral Service 10:30 A.M. THURSDAY May 22nd at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., with Fr. Dean Kokanos officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 P.M. WEDNESDAY May 21st at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with a Trisagion service at 7:30 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund or to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
