Peggy Jane Radak

Peggy Jane (Norman) Radak, 96, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on August 28, 2026, surrounded by family.

Peggy was born on April 3, 1930, in Akron, Ohio. She was the beloved wife of Robert B. Radak and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Bovard) Briggs and her husband, Edward Briggs; her grandchildren, Herbert Shields and his wife, Traci Shields, Lauren (Briggs) Wilhelms, and Kelsey (Briggs) Hillard; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Radak; her daughter, Rebecca (Bovard) Shields; her granddaughter, Rachel Shields; and her great-grandson, Decklan Hillard.

Peggy's family will remember her and carry her memory with them for years to come.

Funeral service will take place TUESDAY, September 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333. Entombment will take place in Rose Hill Burial Park.
