Philip C. Sellew, 93, died Dec. 18, 2012.
Preceded in death by son, Philip, Jr., he is survived by wife, Ruth; children, Tom (Jane) Sellew, Ann Denne, Karen (Bill) Kirkendall, Sandy McCulley and Debi (Mark) Rick; grandchildren, Kate, Rick, Ryan, Molly, Colin, Lindsay, Morgan, and Nic; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul and Ted in Florida.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Coventry Oaks Pavilion, 40 Axline Ave., Akron 44319. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Metro Parks Foundation, 975 Treaty Line Rd., Akron 44313.
