Randall J McDonald

Randall (Randy) Joseph McDonald, age 71, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Akron, Ohio. Father to Michael Patrick McDonald and Timothy Joseph McDonald; Son of M.F. McDonald (deceased) and Pauline McDonald (deceased) and AnnaBelle (Kelley) McDonald (deceased); Brother to Pam (McDonald) Lester, Patrick McDonald, Colleen (Kelley) King, Kathie (Kelley) Bishop, and Tom Kelley; and uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many.

Randall worked in the tire industry for much of his adult life that included the companies of Firestone, Bridgestone, Bandag, and Ziegler Tire. Randall loved to play golf, watch golf, travel to new places and vacation at the beach! Most of all he enjoyed creating memories for and with others! Randy shared so much with so many including his time, talents, laughter, and adventures. He was a remarkable man. The one memory that always stands out is the profound love he had for his family.

Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held later this summer so we may all share the stories and memories! Details will be announced. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Randall’s name.
