Richard W. Mussig

Richard W. Mussig, 88, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on April 29, 2025. Rich was born on April 20, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to parents, Richard S. Mussig and Ella Marie Scheff.

Rich was an HR Manager for The Lawson Milk Company and later Little General Store in Florida. He loved to play golf, sit on his deck and watch the deer and birds. He also had many cats over the years. Rich served our country in the United States Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ella Marie and brothers, Ken and Raymond.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Cheryl (Jim) Luberger, Susan (Robert) Cromie; grandchildren, Melanie (Dylan) Sharpe, Julie (Antonio) Stinson and Jason Cromie; great grandchildren, Julian and Wade; siblings, Margaret (Carl), Darlene (Mike), Melody (Rich), Arnie and Larry (Mary Ellen); sister in law, Cassandra (Charles deceased) Steiger and brother in law, Douglas Steiger.

Calling Hours will be held from 4-8 PM TUESDAY, May 6 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, OH 44333. Mass of the Christian Burial will held 10 AM WEDNESDAY, May 7 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Entombment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
