Robert Carl Bordenkircher

Robert Carl Bordenkircher, 79, died March 29, 2026, peacefully in his West Akron home surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, he was an Akron-area resident all his life. After graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps., achieving the rank of Sergeant E-5. Following his military service, he worked as a quality and logistics professional in the Akron manufacturing operations of the B.F. Goodrich Company and at several other Northeast Ohio companies.

Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bordenkircher; his brother John (Sylvia) Bordenkircher; and his parents, Carl and Mabel Bordenkircher; Bob is survived by his daughter, Andrea Bordenkircher; sons, Michael (Kathy) and Steven (Anne) Bordenkircher; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kendra), Amanda, Andrew, Robert, Daniel, James, and Catherine; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Kalen; and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service remembering his life will be celebrated 11 A.M. TUESDAY April 14 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, followed by inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 P.M. MONDAY April 13 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stewart’s Caring Place, 3501 Ridge Park Drive, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
