Robert Alexander Kleines

Robert (Bob) Kleines, age 65, of Fairlawn, Ohio passed away suddenly at his home on December 1st, 2025 of a heart attack.

Bob was born in Copley, Ohio to Lucille and George Kleines. He was the youngest of three boys and proud of his Greek heritage.

He married his wife of 37 years, Lisa, and had three children. Bob was a graduate of Copley High School and The University of Akron. Bob worked as a job foreman for Botnick Reality.

Those who know Bob know his favorite titles were Husband, Father, and Papau - Greek for Grandpa.

Bob’s favorite place was at the beach with his feet in the sand at the edge of the ocean at Hilton Head Island. Bob built the most amazing sand castles. Bob loved cars, old and new, right down to their parts. We will miss Bob’s ornery grin and wonderful sense of humor. We imagine that Bob is on that beach in Hilton Head listening to Frank Sinatra.

Bob is survived by his wife Lisa and their three children: Bill, Sara (Kohl, Nora) Finley, and Susie; his brothers, Dean (Daisy) Kleines, and Frank (Patty) Kleines, and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Bob’s family would like to thank his closest neighbors and friends for their efforts on the day of his passing.

Calling hours for Bob will be at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. on WEDNESDAY, December 10th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Service will start at 12:00 pm followed by a gravesite service at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.
