Samuel Donald Wakefield

Samuel Donald Wakefield, age 86, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

He was born December 1, 1934, in Akron, son of the late Albert and Viola (nee Heck) Wakefield.

Samuel enjoyed spending time working on cars or tinkering around his garage. Family was the most important part of his life and he will be greatly missed.

Samuel is survived by his cherished children, Donald Samuel (Lorrie) Wakefield, Michael (Vickie) Wakefield, and Bradley Wakefield; treasured grandchildren, Melanie Wakefield, Ashley Wakefield, Brittany (Benjamin) Stoila, Brooke Wakefield, and Brandy Wakefield; and loving great grandson, Isaac. He is also survived by the mother of his children and dear friend, Sharron Wakefield.

Preceded in death by his siblings, Tom Wakefield, Charlotte Harvey, and Betty Kulesza.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Billow Falls Memorial Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Private inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
