Sengchanh Chounramany

Sengchanh Chounramany, 56, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 27, 2016.

Sengchanh was born in Luang Prabang, Laos to Mee Sisouphanh and Chanphengh Chounramany on June 15, 1959.

Sengchanh was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Houmphanh, and nephew Johnny. He is survived by his wife Phetsamone; five children: Noy (Dao), Mickey (Annie), Andrew, Tony, Duke (Taksana), and Jasmin; sisters Thongchanh (Joe), Manilay (Visack), and Vy; and many grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6 from 2-4 p.m. for a traditional Buddhist Funeral Ceremony, followed by cremation at Billows Funeral Home, 85 N Miller Rd., Fairlawn, 44333. An intimate ceremony will be held at Billows on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 1-4 p.m.
