Thelma Williard Remington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2008.
Thelma was born January 21, 1919 in Akron to Earl and Ivy Williard.
She was a voracious reader, accomplished pianist and life master bridge player. She was employed at Smythe Cramer Realty and as the office manager for Granger Lakes Condominiums where she was a resident since 1968. All who knew Thelma will remember her redheaded, spunky personality.
Thelma is survived her brother, Don Jo Williard of Treasure Island, Fla.; and by sons, James D. Remington Bonnie Easterday of Wadsworth and Timothy E. Mindy Remington of Medina; grandchildren, Felicity L. Ted Wilson, Eli J. Remington, Seth S. Valerie Remington, all of Wadsworth, Todd T. Remington of Aberdeen, N.C. and Corey W. Remington of Lodi; great-grandchildren, Claire E. and Colin R. Wilson, Kayleigh R. and Nolan L. Remington. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Williard; son, Jeffrey W. Remington; and great-grand-daughters, Lindsey G. and Olivia L. Wilson.
Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life for family and friends will take place at a later date.
