R. Thomas Tubaugh passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1948 to Raymond Francis Tubaugh and Alice Hunsicker Tubaugh. Tom spent most of his life in Bath, Ohio on the family farm. He graduated from Kent State High school in 1966 and attended the University of Akron, where he met the love of his life, Bonnie Filer Tubaugh.
Tom owned Far Corners at Summit Mall and later worked as a sales representative for Caspari Greeting Cards and Crane Social Stationery for 25 years. He was devoted to his family and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie: his sons, Thomas Henry Tubaugh (Brenda) and Matthew Filer Tubaugh; and six beloved grandchildren: PJ, Flora, Alivia, Carter, Hank, and Luna Tubaugh.
Tom will be remembered for his love of family, his deep roots in the Bath community, and his many friendships. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Bath Historical Society P.O. Box 1, Bath, OH 44210.
