Ralph L. Van Duser
Ralph L. Van Duser, passed away peacefully at his home January 17, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Elmira, New York, he lived most of his life in upstate New York. He retired from Auburn Memorial Hospital where he was the Assistant Administrator. Ralph served in the US Army in the occupation duty during World War II.
Preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Roberts, JoNan Van Duser; grandson, Joseph Van Duser; he is survived by his loving wife of 30 plus years, Maureen; sons, Peter K. Gail Davis, Patrick R. Cathy Morris, Timothy L Judith Clairmont Van Duser; daughters, Candace E. Bond, Cynthia A. Van Duser Robert Pullen, Melissa M. Keith Henderson; grandchildren, Todd Amy Van Duser, Joseph Billie Van Duser, Justin Bond, Jessica Bond, Timothy Cassandra Rossi, Brian Cannon, Christopher Selva, Ryan Kara Keelen, Tia Henderson, Lauren M. Van Duser; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald R. Shirley and Jan A. Barbara Van Duser; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you for the loving care provided by Hospice and Ralph's personal aides, Sherrie, Monica and Roger.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller SRd., Akron. Burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Saratoga, New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Fairlawn 44333 or the Oncology Fund at Akron General Development Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave, Akron 44307.
