Vivian D. Jeromin

Vivian Dolores (Laughery) Jeromin passed peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 96.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on the winter solstice, December 21, 1929, to Frankie (Shields) and James Laughery. She would be the eldest of six children that grew up in the depression.

Vivian married Joseph Jeromin on June 23, 1949. They would have two children and had been married 63 years at the time of his passing in 2012.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Jeromin and all five of her younger siblings, Irene, Richard, Raymond, Sharon and Donna Laughery.

She is survived by her sons Mike (Alice) Jeromin and Jerry (Jennifer) Jeromin. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael (Riley) Jeromin and Jacqueline Jeromin.

She had a long-held view that West Virginia was the most beautiful place in the world. She was a longtime supporter of the local food bank and would encourage all to contribute. Vivian worked hard and made a life to be proud of.
