William "Bill" Pangas

William “Bill” Pangas passed away on February 14, 2026 after a long illness. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 13, 1944. After graduating from college, Bill spent over 30 years working in his family business, Akron Standard Food Service. In 1998, he and his wife, Catherine “Cadey” Pangas, moved to southwest Florida to enjoy sunshine, golf and boating on the Gulf.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bill is survived by his wife, Cadey; sons, William Pangas Jr. and Thomas Treadon (Jody); grandsons, Alex Treadon and Nathan Treadon; and his brother, Pete Pangas (Cynde).

The family is presently finalizing arrangements. Bill will be laid to rest in Akron later this year. Please check the Billow’s website for further details.
