Constance M (Dohner) Gustafson

Constance M. Gustafson (nee Dohner), age 72, of Akron, joined the Lord in Heaven on Thursday, January 14, 2021, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 2, 1948, in Akron; daughter of the late Forest and Trudy Dohner. Connie's family was everything to her. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to travel with her husband, Rick. They did everything together, from working on the house to running a business, to raising their beautiful family together. Connie enjoyed coloring, calligraphy, and handcrafts, such as sewing and cross stitch. She was a devout woman of faith and the power of prayer got her through many of life's challenges. Connie is reunited with her Lord and Savior, as well as her parents and grandson. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Devoted wife of 45 years to Richard Gustafson; cherished mother of Michelle (Brandon) Wyand, Betsy (Nick) Marron, and Christi (Jason) Friedt; beloved grandmother of Kaitlyn, Madison, the late Killian, Brennan, Riley, Quinn, Catriana, Adam, Liam, Kaiden, Victoria, and JJ; loving sister of Rick (Alice), Ted (Lisa), Sister Judy, Bill (Jeanne), Father Steve, Deb (Ron) Rett, Pam (Gary) Arman, and John (Nancy); treasured aunt and friend of many. Connie will also be dearly missed by her dog, Heidi.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Hilary Church, 2750 W Market St., Fairlawn, OH 44333.
