Deborah Hafliger

Deborah Hafliger, age 64, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021. 

She was born February 20, 1957, in Akron, daughter of the late Donald and Valadene (nee Tindle) Hafliger. 

Deborah was a proud and dedicated nurse for nearly 40 years. She was very involved with Girl Scouts and loved horses and passed that love onto her daughters. She was very talented and enjoyed playing the dulcimer, learning history, and doing arts and crafts. Deborah’s grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending as much time with them as possible. She will be greatly missed. 

Devoted mother of Amanda (Ryan) Kackley and Sarah (Edward) Collins; treasured grandmother of Zoey, Logan, Natalie, Hunter, Rylee, and Lilliauna; cherished sister of Dennene (David) Barnette; beloved aunt of David (Rachel) Barnette. Deborah is also survived by the father of her children, John “Bob” Powell. 

A private family graveside service will take place at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, Cuyahoga Falls.
