This is the first time he ever left a party early. Dennis Campana died unexpectedly August 24, 2021. He was born in Massachusetts on April 25, 1947 to Joseph and Marisa Campana. He lived there until he joined the US Air Force in 1965. After the military he pursued a career in sales, which brought him to Akron in 1981. He met Priscilla Pittman shortly after, and they married July 4, 1982. They had one daughter, Missy (Campana) Birdwisa.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla, who died earlier this year. Hopefully she is keeping him out of trouble. He is also preceded in death by his parents, including stepfather Earl Berthiaume. His sister, Diane (Steven) Rosenberg, brother Earl Berthiaume, and grandson Logan. He is survived by his daughter, Missy (Pete) Birdwisa, grandsons Rory and Bodhi, brother Joseph (Jacinta) Campana, sisters Jean Tappan and Nannette (David) Ohman, cousin David (Pam) and Aunt Lori Lorenzi, sisters in law and many nieces and nephews, and his good friends at SouthPoint Tavern.
The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. THURSDAY, October 7th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Inurnment immediately following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Folds of Honor Foundation, Department 13, Tulsa, OK 74182.
