Dennis Allan Richards

Dennis Allan Richards, 68, died July 12, 2014.

Born in Akron, Ohio on March 19,1946, he was drafted out of college from Heidelberg and served two years active duty in the Army. A member of Coventry Lodge #83 F&AM, he was an avid RV'er and enjoyed seeing the country. He was a big Ohio State fan, especially OSU football. Dennis owned and operated Richards Enterprises Answering Service for 38 years, retiring in June, 2010.

Preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Julia (Kapusinski) Richards; he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen (nee Betts) Richards; daughter, Kyra (Bruce) Harris; granddaughter, Natalie Rose Harris; brothers, Dr. Phillip (Rose) Richards and Malcolm (Peggy) Richards; nieces, nephews and special friends.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Dr. Walter S. Chisholm officiating. Private inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home THURSDAY from 5 to 8 p.m., where Coventry Lodge #83 will conduct services at 7 p.m., and Friday one hour prior to the service.
