Dr. Jose Rafecas

Dr. Jose Rafecas June 9, 1956 to January 16, 2020 Dear family and friends. The sudden and unexpected passing of Dr. Jose Rafecas, has been a tremendous shock to those who have known him and especially painful, for his family. He leaves behind and will continue to watch over his wife Dr. Shanaz Shakoori, son Perci as well as many nephews, nieces and other family members across the country, who hold his memory so dear. Dr. Rafecas was loved and respected by all whom he came in contact with and those who knew him best, understood him to be a loving, descent man, of strong honor and integrity. He was never too busy to provide guidance to those who sought his advice, both as a physician and throughout his travels. Dr. Rafecas was a distinguished, hard working and brilliant Neurologist, devoted husband, dedicated father and impeccable human being. We will miss this truly unique and irreplaceable man and he will forever be in our hearts. Thank you to all of his family, friends, business partners, patients and others who are in attendance today for his funeral service, to share in his memory and in celebration of his life.
