Elizabeth (Betty) Courrier Obituary

Elizabeth (Betty) Courrier, 83, of Wadsworth, entered into eternal glory on February 1, 2021 after battling a brief illness.

Born August 18, 1937 in Owen Sound Ontario, Canada to Charles (Charlie) and Luella Kraemer, she had been a homemaker, school bus driver and a pharmacist. Her favorite place was Florida where she lived for 30 years. She adored family, friends, cooking and gardening, her cat Maggie and all things Disney.  She enjoyed daily devotions and was always up to date on current events. She possessed a genuine concern for others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who surrounded her, including strangers.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lewis (Lew) Ambrose Courrier; she is survived by her children, Cheryl Courrier and  Brad (Pamela) Courrier; grandchildren, Collin Courrier, Matthew McCary and Epiphany Anne (Michael) Pietzcker; greatgrandchildren, Addalyn (Addie), Alexis (Lexie)and Ava Pietzcker.

I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2.

At her request, there are no services. Cremation has taken place and she will be buried alongside her beloved husband. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society:  donate.lls.org.
