Evelyn D. Jones

Evelyn D. Jones, 96, passed away on March 8, 2021.  Evelyn was born in Kentuck, WVA on October 26, 1924 to the late Omer and Mary Skeen.  She was a former member of 1st Baptist Church of Akron and worked in the rubber industry for many years as a secretary.  She is survived by her children Judi Horak, John Jones, Jennifer (Harold) Newman and James Jones; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Thursday March 11, 2021 at the Billow Funeral Home Fairlawn Chapel 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 with Rev. Kevin Horak officiating.  Family and friends may visit from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
