Gladys E. Martin

Gladys E. Martin, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born September 7, 1928 in the Cuyahoga Valley and lived in Bath Twp. most of her life. In her early years, Gladys worked for Akron Dry Goods. She loved to travel and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home.

Gladys was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 66 years, Donald E. Martin; and sisters, Jean and Pauline.

She leaves behind her loving children, Kim (Michael) Hess, Allen (Kim), and Dale (Sandra) Martin, grandson, Allen Martin, Jr., and sister, Betty Golden.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Greenfield Estates for the dedicated and compassionate care they provided to Gladys during this time.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Billow Funeral Homes, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333 where friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
