Gloria J. Draper, 91, died May 26, 2017.
Born April 29, 1926 in Barberton to George and Della Thomas, she was a graduate of Barberton High School. She had been a member of St. John's Episcopal Church since 1955 and had retired from Montgomery Ward, working in personnel, sales and management. Gloria truly loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald; she is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sylvia (Steve) Slifko, James (Linda) Thomas, Denise Gunnerson, Jeff Draper, Diane (Gary) Parmelee, Janice (Don) Parmelee, Joan Hauser, Deanna Nicolini, Barbara (Mark) MacGregor and Earl (Vicky) Jones; brother-in-law, Earl "Buzz" Valentine.
Services will be held 10 a.m. THURSDAY, June 1st at St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Christopher Zeke Coughlin officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., 6 to 8 p.m. WEDNESDAY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
