Janice "Jan" Vaccarino

Janice 'Jan' Vaccarino, of Akron, went to her heavenly home on November 8, 2021.

Jan was born in Akron, Ohio on May 27, 1953 to the late Annetta 'Anne' McGaffney (Grandma PTL) and was raised in Northampton Twp. She had a heart of service for others and was an encourager to all. Jan excelled at propping up friends and family, and supporting them thru the many passions and difficulties of their lives. It was her mission to improve the lives of others. It was her heart's desire that others know Jesus and come to have a relationship with Him too. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her mother; Jan was preceded in death by her little brother, Mark McGaffney and her sister, Sally Snavely. She is survived by her sister, Donna Johnson and her brother, David (Karen) McGaffney; children Christine (Andrew) Budd, and Lisa (Jason) DiLauro; grandchildren, Joshua, Noah, Zach, and Seth Budd and Isabella, Amilio, and Enzo DiLauro.

Family and friends may call on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 11am -1pm at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH where a Celebration of Life memorial service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Mike Hopkins officiating.
