Jean Ryder Obituary

Jean E. Ryder died Monday, October 15, 2018, after a brief illness.

A lifelong member of Christ United Methodist Church (now Christ Woodland United Methodist Church), she graduated from The Ohio State University. Jean was a proud member of Tri Delta Sorority. She was the Akron Junior Golf Champ. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Preceded in death by parents William and Effie Enderlein; husband Howard W.Ryder III; brother, William; and sister, Betty; she is survived by Lisa (Keith) Linden, Susan (Tom) Allread, Howard IV ( Amy); grandchildren, Molly (Alex) Pantages, Carrie (Robert) Trunck, Bizzy, Sam, and Jake Allread, Paige and Howard V Ryder, Ashlee (Josh), Hunter and Aviva Tobias, and Isaiah Carbaugh.

Private family services will be held with Rev. Debbie Nees officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
