Jeanne Woloch Obituary
Jeanne Louise (Leslie) Woloch, passed peacefully to eternal life surrounded by family on September 23, 2018. She was born to Earl and Mathelda (Steidle) Leslie on March 5, 1941.
She lived all of her life in Akron, Ohio and married the love of her life, soul mate, and best friend, David Samuel Woloch on April 22, 1961. They enjoyed their journey of life together and their many endeavors along the way. Jeanne volunteered with numerous charities and organizations, and was a homemaker as well as a successful entrepreneur. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Her dog, Maggie, and her cat, Oliver brought her companionship and joy each day.
Her faith in Christ gave her a deep inner strength and comfort that touched the lives of those around her. Jeanne was a gracious, kind-hearted and loving mother to her children. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved and admired her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David. Left to honor Jeanne and remember her love are her four children, David, Linda (Eric), Carol (David), and Mary (Steve); former daughter in-law, Beth; her fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with two on the way; her brothers, Richard Leslie (Dolores), Robert Leslie (Carrie), and James Leslie (Diane); sister, Kandi Waters (Robert); and sisters-in-law, Barbara Woloch and Dolores Zahn.
Jeanne's children would like to extend their endless gratitude to the many friends and family as well as Summa Hospice doctors and nurses for their loving comfort, care and support.
Friends may call Friday, September 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron 44333. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St., Akron, 44308 (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
