JoAnn E. Arnold

JoAnn E. Arnold, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

She was born in East Cleveland on February 20, 1946.

JoAnn will be greatly missed for her kind and gentle nature. She never met a stranger and always welcomed new company in her home. She loved her family and especially loved spending as much time with her grandchildren as she could. They were the light of her life. She enjoyed shopping and she was a former member of the Richfield Jaycee’s. JoAnn was a proud member of Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina.

Preceded in death by her husband, and parents, Charles and Lena Cancasci and John and Lois Zito.

Devoted wife of 43 years to the late Jack L. Arnold Sr.; beloved mother of Lori (John) Cooke and Jack L. (Stephanie) Arnold Jr.; proud grandma of Jimmy Cooke, and Brittany and Brandon Arnold; loving sister of Michael, Charlene, Sam, Linda, John, Dana, and David; treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. JoAnn also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Billow Funeral Homes, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 2, at 10:00 AM at Holy Martyrs Church, 3100 Weymouth Rd., Medina, OH 44256. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Interment immediately following in Copley Township Cemetery.
