John Carl Zuckett of Cuyahoga Falls, OH died peacefully on January 1, 2022, with his wife Christine by his side.
John was born to Charles and Agnes Mae (Flick) Zuckett on December 10, 1937 in Wilkinsburg, PA. He graduated from Turtle Creek High School in Turtle Creek, PA and entered the Army shortly thereafter. Following his honorable discharge, he attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed for 26 years at IBM, with the majority of his time spent in an outside sales role. He retired from Eastman Kodak. He was fortunate to make a second career out of his love of golfing and skiing, working at Brookledge Golf Club in the summer and at Boston Mills Ski Area in the winter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Mae Zuckett, sister Edith Jean Swihart, and brother and sister-in-law Charles and Bernice Jane Zuckett. He is survived by his brother Larry (Janet) Zuckett; his wife of 58 years, Christine (Wisniewski) Zuckett; his children, Thomas (Laura) Zuckett, Andrea (Mark) Capuano, Gregory (Beth) Zuckett and John (Wendy) Zuckett; his grandchildren, Joseph, Sydney, Timothy, Sophia, Isabella, Paula, Alexander and Elliot; step-grandchildren Gino, Michael and Nicklaus; step-greatgrandchildren Evalyn and Francesca, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Mia.
Friends will be received at Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd Street in Cuyahoga Falls on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4-7pm. His funeral service will be held at Billow Falls Chapel on Saturday, January 8 at 11am. The family requests that all guests wear masks. A private burial will occur on Monday, January 10 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula, OH.
