Obituary
Kevin Allen Wester, age 59, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
He was born February 8, 1963, in Akron, OH; son of Florence (nee Bodnar) and the late Harold Wester.
Kevin was a huge OSU sports fan, always cheering for the Buckeyes. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, and rooting for the Bengals and Indians. He was an avid numismatist and film buff. Kevin worked for Loral, American Greetings, and Dominion Energy. He was a very hard worker and made many friends throughout his career.
Preceded in death by his father, Kevin is survived and greatly missed by his mother, Florence; brother, Aaron (Vera) Wester; niece, Amelia Wester; partner, Lorilei Gallagher; and many cousins.
Funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kevin’s name are suggested to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, 9500 Sweet Valley Dr., Valley View, OH 44125.
