Lorena Berry Hall
Lorena Berry Hall went home to be with the Lord May 9, 2016.
Born in Shelby, Ohio, she was raised in Akron, and lived her later years in Cuyahoga Falls. She was in the band and graduated from Central Hower High School in 1952. In the 1950's she was a professional bowler, winning many trophies. She worked at B.F. Goodrich for 30 years. Lorena enjoyed arts and crafts, woodworking and always had a project going. She was great at recruiting others to help her. She enjoyed time spent with special friends, movies, dinner and art shows.
Her family was very important to her. She loved hosting traditional Christmas Parties, Superbowl and New Year's parties. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan as well. She enjoyed playing the Neighborhood Easter Bunny with Lois Phelps, filling baskets and making bunny prints to the neighbors doors. She was big on 2nd chances, and enjoyed giving back. She was a kid at heart, with all her toys and loved her grandchildren to the moon and back. She had a deep love for Christ and will be missed by many.
Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Manning Hall; parents, Fred and Isabel Berry I; brother, Fred Berry II (Victoria); sister, Martha Burke (Paul); sister-in-law, Darla Berry, brother-in-law, Tedd Jones; nieces, Susan and Ann Jones; nephews, Fred Berry III and Berry Burke; Lorena is survived by her daughter, Shelley Hall Erdos (Eric); granddaughters, Olivia and Heather Erdos; step-grandson, Jeremy Lamovsky; sister, Barbara Berry Jones; brothers, David and Robert Berry; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Lois Phelps, Jeanine Thomas, Pat and John Delmonico.
She touched everyone's life and will be missed.
Services will be held 4 p.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Private Inurnment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home SATURDAY from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Give back and help others, for it is in the giving that we receive.
