MARJORIE E. BROWN (KLINE)

Marge Brown, age 99 years, passed away peacefully on April 19th at her home in Akron, Ohio.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, Marge was the daughter of the late Albert and Lillian (Haacher) Kline.  Preceded in death by her brothers Arthur (Nan), Robert (Dot), John (Fern) and sister Marilyn (Ira) McCans.

Marge graduated from Buchtel High School with a group of lifelong friends that continued their bridge parties well into their 80's.

She retired from B.F.Goodrich in 1986 and went on to work for Dr. William Dorner, Akron Dermatologist, until he retired in 1999.  She enjoyed bowling, golf, horseback riding, traveling, and playing bridge.  Marge would not miss a game of dominos (train) with the girls at Carlton House; Wilma, Sue, Patty, Jane, and Chuck.  Marge usually brought home the trophy.  We would like to thank the guardian angel of Carlton House, Antony for all of his help and compassion.

Marge is survived by her sons Lawrence of Belgrade Lakes, Maine, Timothy (Patricia) of Munroe Falls, Ohio.  Her much beloved grandchildren John (Nicole) Brown and Laura Beth "Raptor" Brown of Maine, and Aimee (Adam) Kaloyares of Baton Rouge, LA.  She loved being a great-grandmother to John Anthony, Alexander and twins Annie and Alice and twins Audrey and Adaline.

Marge was very close to her sister Marilyn and after Marilyn’s death she made it her mission to pass that love on to great nieces Amanda and Katie and nephew Matt McCans.

Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or memorial service at this time.  If you wish to donate in her memory, Marge loved all dogs so the Summit County Humane Society or One-of-a-Kind Pets would be her wish.
