Merlin Simon Obituary

Merlin (Burke) Simon, 88 of Copley Twp. passed away on September 24, 2021. Burke was born in Junior, West Virginia on August 27, 1933 to the late William and Bertha Simon. He was a Tiddlywinks champion at Bellington High School and retired from Chrysler Corp. after 42 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Amelia and daughter Patricia Simon. He is survived by his children Janet (Bill) Everitt, Beth (David) Jennings and Brian (Lisa) Simon; 5 grandchildren and very good friend Marieluise Christopher.

A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. www.akroncantonfoodbank.org
