Patricia Ann Taylor

Patricia Ann Taylor, 81, of Copley Twp. passed away on November 14, 2021. Patricia was born in Akron, Ohio on February 24, 1940 to the late Robert and Nettie Boyd.

Pat was a graduate of Kenmore High School and the University of Akron. She was Executive Vice President/Owner of Wright Tool Co. and founder of Patricia Ann Garden Tools. She was also a member of the Woman’s Industrial Supply Executives and Society for Human Resources Management. Pat was a leader in community service and enjoyed helping the Barberton community. She was past president of the Barberton Rotary Club, and  served on numerous boards, including the Barberton Area United Way, local chapter of the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Tuscora Park, Lake Anna YMCA, and the South Summit Chamber of Commerce. She was a generous supporter of Barberton Rotary, Barberton Area Community Ministries, the Barberton Mum Festival, Lake Anna YMCA and many other community events.

Preceded in death by her parents; brother Karl Gillenwater; sister Wilna Lyle; grandson Gavin Westover and son in law Ted Westover. She is survived by her husband Terry Taylor; son Brent (Sue) Smith; daughter Patty Westover; grandchildren Ty (Jill) Smith, Tiffany Smith, Garett Westover, Evan (Shelby) Smith and Hilary (Christian) Smith; great grandchildren Emma and Marley Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Billow Funeral Home 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Patricia Ann Taylor Scholarship Fund and sent to Wright Tool PO Box 512 Barberton, Ohio 44203, Attn. Shirley Harris.
