Phyllis May Zilke

Phyllis May Zilke, age 85, of Richfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021.

She was born January 16, 1936, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Nicholas and Eleanor Mikes. Phyllis was an avid reader and loved gardening. She liked to knit, crochet, watch old, classic movies. Her family was the light of her life and she always put them first. Phyllis will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Zilke.

Phyllis is survived by her children, David Zilke, and Sandra (Robert “Gregg”) Wolfarth; cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Walter (Linda) Zilke; nephew and nieces, Greg, Jodi, and Kevin; and dearest friend, Edith Wilk.

Memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Billow Funeral Homes, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Phyllis’ name are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church, 2062 E. 30th St., Cleveland, OH 44115.
