RICHARD JAMES “RICH” KUHAR, 53
Rich passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
Born March 6, 1968 in Copley, Ohio, Rich attended Copley High School. Following high school, he graduated from Miami University in 1990, where he studied Business & Finance as well as Photography and Philosophy. He was a member of the business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and the social fraternity, Sigma Tau Gamma. After college, he began working for the family-owned Arkay Engineering Sales Inc., where he eventually became the executive vice president.
Rich and his family lived in Indialantic, Florida for 20 years, where Rich became President of Indialantic’s Dad’s Club and coached youth soccer. He was an avid surfer and a lover of nature and music.
Throughout his life, Rich was a passionate fisherman. He always anticipated his yearly trip to Canada with his father and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Susi (Susan Watt); children, Cassidy, Reese, and Ellie; mother, Becky (Rebecca Menefee); brother, Chad Kuhar; aunt, Alice Gilmore. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard W. Kuhar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 4th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call on Thursday, June 3rd from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N Miller Rd.
