Bath, OH a€" Richard "Dick" Krejci, 78, of Bath, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Hospice on Ridgewood following several months of health challenges.
Dick was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 22, 1938 to James and Alice Krejci. He served as an altar boy and attended St. Ann's Elementary School. He attended St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, and graduated in 1957 from Revere High School in Bath.
Dick was employed over forty years by Alltel in Hudson, OH. During his retirement he enjoyed playing golf, and driving his 1946 red Ford convertible. He and his wife, Mary Anne, enjoyed vacationing in Key West, Florida for over 30 years. Dick was a frequent volunteer for Bath organizations a€" Bath Historical Society, the Memorial Day celebration, and especially enjoyed helping at Crown Point Ecology Center in Bath. He was also a member of the Alltel Retirees with whom he enjoyed monthly breakfasts. He was a true gentleman.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and by his step-daughter, Deborah Weidrick. He is survived by sons, Thad Krejci (Debbie) of Akron, Geoff Krejci (Krissi) of Arizona, and Kyle Krejci (Terri) of Arizona. He is also survived by his wife, Mary Anne and her children, Cliff Weidrick (Diane), Dawn Sullivan (Mike) and Rich Weidrick (Linda) all of Bath. Other survivors are brother, Jim Krejci (Joan) of Medina, 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many dear cousins including Don Krejci.
There will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Dick's memory to Crown Point Ecology Center, PO Box 484, 3220 Ira Rd., Bath, OH 44210. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
