Robert S. Miller

Robert S. Miller, age 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was bon June 15, 1940 in Munson, Oh. Son of the late Almond and Ruth (nee Davis) Miller. Robert was a fast pitch softball player. As one of the best pitchers in the area he competed amongst some of the toughest competition including the King and his court and the Queen and her court, beating both on multiple occasions. His other hobbies included weight lifting and nutrition, which he was always willing to share his knowledge with those that asked. Bob enjoyed fishing and the beaches of Florida. He was a very proud member of AA for nearly 40 years. Bob will be missed by all who knew him. Devoted husband of 53 years to the late Carol Ann Miller; cherished father of Robert Jr. (Tammy) Miller, Frank (Julie) Miller, Melanie West, Rebecca Miller-Byrne, and the late Cheryl Miller. Beloved grandfather of Dana Miller, Stephanie West, Lyndsey and Lauren Byrne, Grace, Frankie, and Jack Miller. Loving great grandfather of Luci West. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Billow Falls Memorial Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, Oh 44223. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment immediately following in Northampton Cemetery.
