Sandra Mae Haas-Raines

Sandra Mae Haas-Raines (84) passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 6, 2021 after a long battle with Cancer. She was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 1955. She obtained a Masters Degree of Pharmacology from Butler University and practiced as a Pharmacist for Youngfellow Drug. She later obtained a Master Degree in Education from the University of Akron and was a Substitute Math & Science Teacher at Cuyahoga Falls High School. After retirement, Sandra enjoyed gardening and was active with the Cuyahoga Falls Garden Club. She was very proud of her many rare species of Flowers and plants. Sandra was also active with the Northampton Historical Society and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Sandra was a very kind soul and was loved many life-long friends and her family. Sandra was proceeded in death by her parents Willard and Eva (Cherryholmes), sister, Carol, brother Gordon, and Husband, Phillip. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis, daughter, Tina, son, Andrew (Bethany), grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Lillian, great-grand children, Julia, Jordin and Abner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
