Canal Fulton - It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Giermann announces his passing after a brief but acute battle with cancer, on May 24, 2021, at the age of 65 years. Gone too soon, Bill will be forever missed. He attended Walsh Jesuit High School and spent the majority of his career at A. Schulman, Inc. where he formed many mutually admirable friendships. Bill always loved the great outdoors spending time hunting and fishing. Along the way he developed a love of thrift stores, auctions, and antique shows and became highly knowledgeable about antique treasures. He is preceded in death by his dad Bill and brother Ron.

He leaves behind to mourn the loss of him, his children, whom he dearly loved, Emily, Billy, Mark, Laurie, and Brian; his loving mom, Olive Mae (Dusty); two sisters Debbie Lemke and Nancy; niece Lee Gatens (Jeremy); great nephew Colt and great niece Hayden; Uncle Ronald; Aunt Joan; and many cousins.

Friends are invited to the Historic Chapel at Bath Church - United Church of Christ, 3980 W. Bath Road, Akron, Ohio 44333 for a memorial service officiated by Pastor Brenda Waddell on Saturday, June 5th at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
