Uncertain journey, Insufficient Map: Caring for Patients and Families in Anticipatory Grief
For both patients and families, the end of life feels like a highly uncertain journey with a map that simply does not show all the detours and landmarks. Caregiving professionals help these individuals navigate the uncertain terrain in hopes of creating a more meaningful dying process and less complication in the bereavement experience that follows.

CEUs are provided by Monarch Grief Center. Monarch Grief Center is approved by the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board to provide continuing education for Social Workers (RSX012301), Counselors (RCX012401), and Marriage and Family Therapists (RT012511). This workshop is applicable for a wide diversity of caregiving professionals including nurses, chaplains, school counselors, and pastors. Participants in other professions should ascertain if this program is acceptable for CEU credit for their board or organization.

Ministering Effectively in Serious Illness and Bereavement
Most congregations hope that volunteers will step up to help "carry the load" of ministry to bereaved individuals and families while also realizing there isn't much training for these people. In this fast-paced workshop, we'll discuss how to provide effective ministry in life's sorrows, especially when death has occurred in the congregation or community.
